Personal Data
ESBE INTERNATIONAL s.a.
hereinafter referred to as “ESBE”
The protection of your personal data is of utmost importance to ESBE, as is your security when browsing our web pages. Below you will find a description of the type of information that ESBE collects during your visit to our website and how it is used.
Personal Data
Personal data refers to specific information relating to the personal or factual characteristics of an identified or identifiable natural person. This includes, in particular, your name, address, telephone number, and email address. Information that cannot be directly linked to your actual identity (for example, preferred websites) is not considered personal data.
Collection and Processing of Personal Data
ESBE is committed to protecting users’ privacy.
When you visit esbe.be, for security reasons our web servers automatically store a temporary backup of the connection data of the computer accessing our site, a list of web pages you browse on our site, the date and duration of your visit, identification data of the browser and operating system used, and the website that referred you to our site.
No other personal information (such as name, address, phone number, or email address) is collected unless you voluntarily provide it (e.g., by completing the online contact form in connection with a contract or inquiry).
ESBE guarantees the right to access and modify personal data in accordance with applicable laws.
Use and Transfer of Personal Data
We use the personal data you provide exclusively for the technical administration of our web pages and to respond to your requests. Essentially, this is to fulfill a contract concluded with you or to answer your inquiry. In turn, this allows us to improve our services, facilitate your use of our website, and personalize its content and services.
We will use your data for commercial purposes only with your prior consent or, if permitted by law, if you have not objected.
ESBE undertakes not to share, sell, transfer, or otherwise disclose your personal data to third parties, except where legally required, contractually necessary, or with your explicit consent.
Use of Web Tracking
We use tracking software to determine how many users have visited our website and how frequently. We do not use this software to collect personal data or individual IP addresses. The data is used exclusively in anonymous and aggregate form for statistical purposes and website development.
Use of Cookies
“Cookies” are small files that allow us to store specific information related to you and your computer while visiting ESBE. Cookies help us determine how often our web pages are visited and how many users access them. They also assist us in optimizing and improving our offers.
We use both temporary cookies (stored only for the duration of your visit) and persistent cookies (which retain information about users who visit repeatedly). These cookies help us identify you during your visit and tailor our pages accordingly.
In general, we do not create individual profiles of your online activity. The content of a persistent cookie is limited to an identification number; your name, email, and IP address are not stored.
Exception – Google Analytics Cookies:
These cookies use your IP address to recognize you but do not identify you personally. The information collected is anonymous and used to generate reports to help us improve our websites.
For more information, see the Cookie Table below or visit the Google Analytics Opt-Out Add-on to disable tracking across all websites.
Cookie Table
Cookies are categorized into two groups below. Please note that some cookies may belong to more than one category:
[1] Strictly necessary: Essential for navigating the site and using its features. Without them, we cannot provide the services you request.
[2] Performance: Collect information about how visitors use the site (e.g., most frequently viewed pages). These do not collect identifying information and are aggregated and anonymous, used only to improve the site.
Third-Party Cookies in Embedded Content
Some pages may contain cookies from unrelated third parties (e.g., YouTube, Instagram). These providers may place their own cookies in your browser. ESBE has no control over these cookies and cannot access them. Please refer to those third-party sites for more details.
Web Beacons
To ensure that our online content remains relevant, user-friendly, and up to date, we use analytics services such as Google Analytics. These use data collection technologies like web beacons—small electronic images that help count visits, analyze site use, and measure effectiveness. These beacons are anonymous and do not collect personally identifiable information.
Managing Cookies
You can browse esbe.be without cookies.
In your browser, you can disable cookies, restrict them to certain sites, or set alerts for each cookie sent. You can also delete cookies from your hard drive at any time. Note that this may limit site functionality.

For example, your data is stored in a secure operating environment not accessible to the public. In some cases, your data is encrypted using SSL (Secure Socket Layer) during transmission, meaning that an approved encryption procedure is used for communication between your computer and ESBE’s servers, if supported by your browser.
